Bayern and Atletico have previous too
And there is a little bit of history between Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid, too, as they met in the 1974 European Cup final.
The first match at Heysel in Brussels ended in a 1-1 draw after extra time, before Bayern won the replay 4-0 thanks to two apiece from Gerd Muller and Uli Hoeness.
10:49
They've met before
Man City have faced Real before in the Champions League, that was in the 2012-13 group stage.
In the Bernabeu, Real beat City 3-2 thanks to three goals by Marcelo, Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo, while Edin Dzeko and Aleksandar Kolarov scored for City.
The return in Manchester ended 1-1, with Sergio Aguero equalising from the penalty spot after Benzema gave Real a 10th-minute lead.

Rules and regulations, terms and conditions
Marchetti explains there are four balls in the bowl. That's a relief. He adds that anyone can be drawn against anyone. He shuffles the balls and here we go...
10:39
Onto the draw itself...
Onto the actual draw them and here is Giorgio Marchetti, UEFA's Competitions Director, to explain all the rules and regulations, of which there are very few at this stage you would hope.
Apparently we have some football legends to co-ordinate the draw - Dejan Stankovic, who is now talking about those famous semi-finals with Barcelona in 2010. Stankovic and Marchetti conclude they were 'incredible' matches.

Let's have another montage
That filled some time. Now he has finished and we're into montage No 2, featuring the four teams that have made it to this stage...

Cue the Champions League theme music, we're about to start....
By which I mean we'll probably have loads of chatter, a special guest and several montages before the 30-second draw...
Since Gianni Infantino, the usual draw master, now has some FIFA job or other, it's Pedro Pinto doing the hosting at the 'House of European Football' in Nyon.

Not much longer to wait now....
By Ben Grounds: Liverpool completed another astonishing European comeback against Borussia Dortmund to reach the Europa League semi-finals, with Jurgen Klopp edging closer to silverware in his maiden season at Anfield.
The Reds looked down and out after 65 minutes of the second leg on Thursday night, but needing three goals, Klopp managed to summon the spirit of Istanbul as Dejan Lovren completed another famous 4-3 win in front of the Kop in stoppage time.
With Liverpool now just three games away from clinching a Champions League berth in next season's competition, Sportsmail looks at the possible scenarios should they prevail and Manchester City do likewise in UEFA's premier club competition.

The stage is set in Nyon

By Jonny Singer and Chris Wheeler: When Pep Guardiola watches the Champions League draw on Friday, you imagine there will be an inner conflict behind his usually calm demeanour.
On the one hand, Manchester City, as first-time semi-finalists who are well off the pace in a weak Premier League, are the easiest option available for his Bayern side, rather than the two Madrid clubs pushing Barcelona at the summit of La Liga.
On the other, a two-legged tie against the club he will take over in the summer will present him with one of the most awkward situations in football.
10:02
All roads lead to Milan....
And then there were four. Manchester City, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich are the last teams standing in this season's Champions League.
It's been a campaign packed with thrills, spectacular goals, classic games, moments of intrigue and controversy. Now it's the business end. Now the real pressure begins as the teams bid to reach the final at the San Siro.
Welcome along to our coverage of the Champions League semi-final draw at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland. It gets underway at 10.30 and we'll have plenty of build-up before then.
Manchester City will face Spanish giants Real Madrid in their first ever Champions League semi-final clash.
The two-legged affair will see Cristiano Ronaldo return to Manchester to face his former side's local rivals.
Atletico Madrid, on the other hand, will face German giants Bayern Munich.
